- Travel and working on-site at events are required when needed.
About the role
Own content strategy and conference programme development for the launch of HR Technology Abu Dhabi.
Build the event content proposition and help establish it within the regional HR technology market.
Content and programme development
- Research the market through interviews, meetings, desk research, industry reports, social media, and relevant events.
- Build relationships with senior HR, technology, and business leaders to identify priorities and emerging trends.
- Select relevant topics, themes, and speakers; write programmes, session descriptions, speaker briefs, and supporting content.
- Keep programme content current and commercially relevant while aligned with the event proposition.
Speaker and industry engagement
- Identify and recruit senior speakers and industry experts and build relationships across the UAE and wider Middle East.
- Support speakers, develop session content and formats, and manage communications, biographies, photographs, and presentations.
Marketing and commercial support
- Create content and messaging for marketing and sales, including briefs, speaker announcements, agenda launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with sponsorship and sales teams to support commercial objectives while maintaining content integrity.
- Identify ways content can support audience acquisition, engagement, and sponsor value.
Event delivery
- Manage content production timelines and coordinate with event operations, marketing, sales, editorial, and other teams.
- Support event delivery, including on-site speaker management and conference delivery.
- Gather audience and speaker feedback to improve future editions.
What we're looking for
- Strong communication, research, analytical, relationship-building, organisational, and project management skills.
- Creative thinking, attention to detail, commercial awareness, and ability to handle multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in conference production, event content, journalism, editorial, research, or marketing is advantageous.
- Sector experience in HR, HR technology, technology, SaaS, or future of work is beneficial but not essential.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience; excellent written and verbal English; strong research, interviewing, and copywriting skills.
- Experience engaging senior professionals and familiarity with UAE or Middle East business markets are advantageous.
- Arabic fluency is advantageous but not essential.
