Content Creator & Photographer

About This Role

We are a studio built on craft, relationships and an obsession with beauty. As we grow our online presence, we are looking for someone who can translate what we do in the studio into a compelling, consistent and visually stunning digital world.

THE ROLE

This is a dual role: part photographer, part storyteller, part community builder. You will be responsible for everything that represents Mayflower online — from the way a bouquet is lit and styled for a product shot, to the Reel that showcases an event setup, to the caption that makes someone stop scrolling.

You will work closely with the founders and florist team, embedded in the day-to-day rhythm of the studio, capturing content as it happens and building an editorial calendar that keeps our channels active, consistent and beautiful.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Photography & Visual Content

–   

Plan and execute all product photography for bouquets, arrangements, gifting collections and seasonal campaigns

–   

Shoot behind-the-scenes content: studio life, arrangement process, team moments and event setups

–   

Style and compose shots that feel editorial and luxurious — not generic or overly commercial

–   

Edit and retouch all imagery to a consistent, on-brand standard

–   

Build and maintain a content library organised by season, product and occasion

Content & Channel Management

–   

Own our Instagram and TikTok channels end-to-end: strategy, planning, posting and community management

–   

Create and edit Reels and short-form video content — trending formats applied with taste

–   

Write captions that match our brand voice: warm, refined and knowledgeable without being stiff

–   

Build and maintain a monthly content calendar in advance

–   

Respond to DMs and comments in a timely, brand-consistent manner

–   

Identify and propose influencer and gifting partnership opportunities

–   

Track and report on key metrics: reach, engagement rate, follower growth and website referrals

Brand & Campaign Support

–   

Produce visual assets for email newsletters, the Shopify website and gifting catalogues

–   

Collaborate with the team on seasonal campaigns — Valentine's, Mother's Day, Ramadan, New Year, etc.

–   

Support event coverage: arrive early, capture the setup, document the atmosphere

–   

Contribute creative ideas to brand direction and storytelling

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential

–   

A strong photography portfolio demonstrating luxury product or lifestyle work — flowers, interiors, fashion, food, hotels or similar

–   

Proven experience managing an Instagram account with measurable growth (please share handles)

–   

Proficiency with editing tools: Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro, or CapCut for mobile-first editing

–   

A genuine eye for composition, light and colour — not just technical skills, but real taste

–   

Ability to shoot and edit Reels independently, from concept to published post

–   

Strong written English for captions, stories and DM responses

–   

Self-directed and organised — you can manage a content calendar without being chased

–   

Comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment where things change quickly

Preferred

–   

Prior experience working with a luxury brand, hotel, restaurant or retailer in the UAE or Europe

–   

Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo or email marketing tools

–   

Basic understanding of SEO and how social content supports search visibility

–   

Arabic language skills are a bonus but not required

–   

Experience with flat lay styling and product arrangement for photography
