Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations including medical history review and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations specific to urology.
- Diagnose and manage various urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate conditions, and urological cancers.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medical and surgical interventions.
- Perform urological surgeries safely and effectively, utilizing both open and minimally invasive techniques.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient management.
- Provide patient education regarding conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in urology through continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Completion of urology residency and board certification as a Consultant Urologist.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions.
- Proficiency in performing urological surgical procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships and teamwork.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
- Continuing education commitment to stay informed of developments in urology.
- Experience working in a reputed private hospital setting is preferred.
