Consultant Urologist

Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including clinical examination and diagnostic testing for urological disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Perform urological surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques where applicable
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
• Educate patients and their families about urological health, preventive care, and treatment options
• Participate in clinical research and continuous professional development activities
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with data protection regulations

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited university
• Completion of accredited residency training in Urology
• Board certification in Urology is mandatory
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as a Consultant Urologist
• Proficiency in performing urological surgeries with a focus on patient safety and care quality
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with urology advancements
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
