Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose spinal conditions through detailed clinical evaluation and imaging review.
- Perform a range of spinal surgical procedures including decompressions, fusions, and corrections for deformities.
- Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans including surgical and non-surgical options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient education and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and institutional standards.
- Participate in teaching, mentoring, and training junior medical staff.
- Engage in clinical research and quality improvement projects related to spine surgery.
- Stay updated with medical advancements and evolving best practices in spine surgery.
Requirements
- Medical degree and board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
- Specialized training and fellowship in Spine Surgery.
- Proven experience in performing complex spine surgeries with excellent patient outcomes.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to clinical governance.
- Ability to manage multiple complex cases efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Dedication to patient-centered care and ethical medical practice.
- Experience in clinical research and teaching is an advantage.
