Consultant Physician – Feto-Maternal Medicine (Maternal-Fetal Medicine)
About This Role
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Consultant Physician – Feto-Maternal Medicine (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) to join one of our prestigious healthcare clients in the Al Dhafra Region, UAE.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior specialist in high-risk obstetrics and fetal medicine to be part of a leading medical facility committed to delivering advanced maternal and neonatal care. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing complex pregnancies, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and fetus, and contributing to the continuous improvement of obstetric services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide expert fetal-maternal consultations
- Perform advanced fetal assessments including ultrasound, Doppler studies, and prenatal diagnostics
- Develop and oversee individualized care plans for complex obstetric cases
- Provide antenatal counseling for congenital abnormalities and pregnancy complications
- Collaborate closely with neonatology, obstetrics, radiology, and other specialties
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide critical decision-making support
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical governance and DOH standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, audits, and quality improvement programs
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior physicians and residents
Requirements:
