Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Consultant Physician in Anesthesia for a government healthcare facility located in the Al Dhafra Region of Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care across a range of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for various surgical and medical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage any complications
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, international standards, and best practices
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff when required
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Anesthesiology
- DOH License or Eligibility as a Consultant in Anesthesia
- Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Consultant Anesthesiologist
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred:
- Experience in a government or tertiary healthcare setting
