SearchPlus HR is currently recruiting for a Consultant - Gastroenterology to join an esteemed healthcare institution.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert clinical care in the field of gastroenterology and contribute to a multidisciplinary medical team renowned for excellence.
The Consultant will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, performing endoscopic and other related procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients presenting gastrointestinal complaints.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
- Develop patient-centered treatment plans and follow up on clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical colleagues across departments to provide integrated care.
- Support junior medical staff through teaching and mentorship.
- Stay updated with current advancements and best practices in gastroenterology.
- Engage in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement projects.
Requirements
- Medical degree with recognized specialization in Gastroenterology.
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Gastroenterology.
- Extensive clinical experience in gastroenterology, including proficiency in endoscopic techniques.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Experience in teaching and mentorship is an advantage.
- Familiarity with health informatics systems preferred.
