Role Description
This part-time Construction Project Manager role is a hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site work at project locations and some work-from-home flexibility.
The Construction Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Day-to-day tasks include managing project schedules, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and suppliers, monitoring site progress, and addressing any issues that may impact safety or delivery.
The role also involves preparing reports and documentation, tracking costs and resources, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track and communicate status updates and risks clearly.
Qualifications
- Project Management and Construction Project Management skills to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.
- Construction Management and Project Coordination skills to manage site activities, stakeholders, and daily workflow.
- Budgeting skills to control costs, allocate resources effectively, and monitor financial performance of projects.
- Experience with scheduling tools, progress reporting, and risk management in a construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and UAE building regulations is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a hybrid work setup.
- Relevant academic background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and prior experience in construction projects in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
