Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop feasibility studies, space plans, conceptual designs, layouts, and early-stage solutions for new facilities, expansions, renovations, and consolidations.
• Lead and participate in user-requirement workshops and design reviews; translate operational, functional, technical, and spatial requirements into design solutions.
• Interpret and apply company design standards, specifications, blueprints, performance criteria, and technical requirements; review multidisciplinary drawings and provide design comments.
• Coordinate with external design consultants and align architectural design with civil, structural, MEP, IT/networking, security, HSE, fire/life-safety, and operational needs.
• Evaluate functionality, constructability, maintainability, efficiency, safety, and compliance with applicable standards and codes.
• Prepare drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentations; support design development and later project stages as required.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related architecture, design, or engineering discipline.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience; experience with technically complex facilities is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; Rhino and/or other 3D modeling, visualization, and rendering software experience is also sought.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, space planning, construction documentation, materials, building systems, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Able to translate complex operational requirements into practical facility designs.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Based in Dubai and willing to travel regionally and internationally as project needs require.
