Construction & Commissioning Engineers with refinery and petrochemical startup or commissioning experience are sought.
The work location is Yanbu; candidates from the Western Region are preferred.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
- Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and system handover activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate construction to comply with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
- Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and help ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, vendors, and construction teams.
- Manage mechanical completion, punch-list closure, system turnover, and handover documentation.
- Execute flushing, pressure testing, loop checking, and functional testing.
- Lead commissioning and startup for process, utility, and support systems.
- Support troubleshooting, performance testing, and final handover to operations.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and close-out documentation.
Preferred experience
- Experience in Saudi Aramco brownfield and greenfield projects, utilities, tank farms, pipelines, and industrial facilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
