Position overview

Concierge role in the Rooms division at The Lana, Dubai, part of Dorchester Collection.

Permanent, full-time position supporting the Concierge Team and luxury guest experience.

What you'll do

  • Improve the guest experience, hotel service proposition, and process efficiency, and support strategic hotel projects.
  • Respond to guest needs and arrange dining, events, excursions, transportation, and other services.
  • Build local community and business relationships that add value to guests' stays.
  • Keep current on local events, dining, entertainment, venues, and providers to make informed recommendations.
  • Support the Head Concierge with local and global relationships and maintain and assess preferred vendors.
  • Oversee grooming of the bell captain, luggage porters, doorman, and valet team.

What you'll bring

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar capacity at a luxury hotel.
  • A relevant professional qualification or hotel-school diploma.
  • Fluent, comfortable English communication; English is the hotel's primary language for serving international guests.
  • Strong guest-service drive, communication, active listening, multitasking, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of property and digital concierge technology and a strong luxury-service and business ethic.
  • Previous Concierge or premium guest-services experience is an advantage.
