Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using HTTP semantics and API versioning practices.
• Implement business logic, service-layer components, and data access layers following clean architecture principles.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases on modeling, indexing, performance, and transactions.
• Write unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance, availability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot is required.
• Candidates need a solid understanding of RESTful service design and microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or equivalent is required.
• Understanding of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA is required.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
• OAuth2 and JWT basics are preferred for API security.
• AWS exposure is advantageous, while Docker and microservices deployment knowledge is a plus.
