Support the Compliance Department in ensuring adherence to SAMA regulations for payment services, including EMI license activities and other PSP categories.
The role includes regulatory advisory and monitoring responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable SAMA rules for payment services, including EMI, PSP, and wallet-provider activities.
- Review and approve new products; monitor internal processes and product structures for regulatory adherence.
- Track and implement regulatory updates; maintain policies and procedures in line with current SAMA rules.
- Disseminate SAMA circulars and publications and follow up on implementation with relevant departments.
- Prepare accurate regulatory reports and review management reports submitted to SAMA.
- Coordinate collection and validation of required regulatory data.
- Support inspections, audits, and remediation; advise internal stakeholders on payment compliance.
Qualifications and expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of compliance experience at a SAMA-regulated payments entity.
- Knowledge of SAMA’s payment-services regulatory framework and experience in regulatory reporting and policy review.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
