The opportunity

Advise senior management on regulatory obligations and support Tradeweb's continued growth in the Middle East.

Build relationships with senior stakeholders and regional regulators, and oversee regulatory engagement and filings, including with the Saudi CMA and DFSA.

Provide strategic oversight and hands-on delivery as the region's MLRO, conduct proactive risk assessments, and strengthen policies, processes, and controls.

What you'll do

  • Manage regulatory and financial crime risks across regional operations and give pragmatic recommendations aligned with the firm's risk appetite.
  • Oversee regional financial crime and AML obligations; keep policies, standards, procedures, and customer due diligence fit for purpose.
  • Support new product development with regulatory advice, controls, and required filings.
  • Maintain regulator relationships, contribute to corporate and risk governance, and monitor operations for compliance risks.
  • Implement corrective actions, improve compliance policies and procedures, and promote regional consistency.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to deliver the International compliance program.

About you

  • Senior financial services compliance experience, ideally in a brokerage, securities trading firm, exchange, or electronic trading platform.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets and trading venue regulation, applicable to products and commercial activities.
  • Direct DFSA and/or Saudi CMA experience, including regulatory engagement, filings, and regulatory change.
  • Strong AML, CDD, and financial crime expertise; previous MLRO responsibility is ideal.
  • Experience delivering compliance programs spanning risk assessments, monitoring, policies, controls, and remediation.
  • Able to influence senior management, support new products or market expansion, and work independently in Dubai with an international team.
