Oversee regional regulatory engagement and filings, including with Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority and the Dubai Financial Services Authority.

Act as the region’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer while strengthening compliance policies, processes, and controls.

What you’ll do

  • Manage regulatory and financial-crime risks across regional operations and provide recommendations aligned with the firm’s risk appetite.

  • Advise on new products, implement regulatory controls, and complete required filings.
  • Maintain relationships with regulators and contribute to corporate and risk governance.
  • Monitor operations, identify compliance risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Improve regional compliance policies and procedures and collaborate with global colleagues on the International compliance programme.

About you

  • Senior financial-services compliance experience; brokerage, securities trading, exchange, or electronic trading experience is ideal.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets and trading venue regulation and ability to apply rules to products and commercial activities.
  • Direct DFSA and/or Saudi CMA experience, including engagement, filings, and regulatory change.
  • Strong AML, customer due diligence, and financial-crime expertise; previous MLRO responsibility is ideal.
  • Experience delivering compliance programmes covering risk assessments, monitoring, policies, controls, and remediation.
  • Ability to influence senior management, support product or market expansion, and work independently in Dubai with an international team.

Workplace

  • Dubai, with hybrid working and two to three days per week on-site.

Contract and role level

  • The role is permanent and identified as Director level.

Benefits

  • Benefits include enhanced parental leave, family-building and postpartum support, subsidised gym membership, and learning and development opportunities; offerings vary by location.

Application process

  • The interview process has three stages covering relevant experience, leadership skills, and technical expertise.
