The Release Specialist supports day-to-day planning, review, scheduling, and execution of releases.

The Quality Analyst supports quality-process adoption across the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle.

Release Lead responsibilities

  • Define release policy, master release plans, release gates, and readiness criteria.
  • Own the master release calendar and coordinate schedules across projects to prevent conflicts.
  • Coordinate governance and readiness checks with Change Management before CAB approval.
  • Drive CI/CD and DevOps adoption, automated deployments, and repeatable practices across development, testing, staging, and production.
  • Coordinate Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Change teams for release execution.
  • Manage dependencies across applications, platforms, integrations, and SaaS solutions; define deployment checklists, rollback plans, and post-release validation.
  • Use JIRA to track activities, dependencies, risks, issues, and readiness; establish monitoring, dashboards, KPIs, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Improve release automation, standardization, quality, and time-to-market.

Release Lead experience and skills

  • Proven experience as a Release Lead or Release Manager in large-scale enterprise technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of application and SaaS development and release lifecycles.
  • Hands-on understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, automated deployments, containerization, and BDD.
  • Experience with JIRA, release/change management, monitoring, deployment, and DevOps toolsets.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise change governance, CAB processes, release controls, and production deployment practices.
  • Experience managing releases across multiple applications, environments, integrations, and technology teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Release Specialist responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day release activities and review release plans for clear information, dependencies, timelines, and activities.
  • Align project schedules with the master release calendar and identify conflicts or dependencies.
  • Review readiness for UAT, Stage, and other pre-production environments; check deployment plans, release notes, rollback plans, and validation activities.
  • Track activities, risks, issues, approvals, violations, and exceptions in JIRA and relevant tools.
  • Coordinate with Development, QA, DevOps, Change Management, and project teams to resolve issues and execute releases on time.
  • Support deployments, post-release validation, team training, documentation, audit evidence, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Identify recurring release issues and recommend improvements to processes, automation, and operational efficiency.

Release Specialist experience and skills

  • Experience in release management or coordination, IT operations, DevOps, or application support.
  • Good understanding of application development, testing, deployment, and release lifecycles, including UAT, Stage, and Production processes.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, automated deployments, JIRA, and release/change management tools.
  • Experience reviewing deployment plans, release notes, implementation plans, and rollback procedures.
  • Understanding of ITIL/change management and CAB processes is preferred.
  • Strong coordination, communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage concurrent releases and dependencies.

Quality Analyst responsibilities

  • Perform quality gate checks and process audits; review product test strategies and plans for quality or process gaps.
  • Check that quality processes, checkpoints, and approvals are followed and embedded in JIRA workflows.
  • Drive quality-practice adoption and conduct QA and quality-process training for delivery teams.
  • Track process adherence, identify recurring gaps, and measure adoption through KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement and work with the QA Lead to improve quality maturity across CDP teams.
