Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commissioning Manager based in Abu Dhabi.
The Commissioning Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of project commissioning activities.
Responsibilities
include defining commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules; managing teams during the commissioning phase; ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards; conducting performance tests; and providing resolution for commissioning-related challenges.
The role involves working closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in commissioning, project management, and integrated project delivery within engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
- Familiarity with safety and quality standards in engineering and construction, including risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects, particularly within international project environments.
- Strong leadership, team management, and coordination skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making during project execution phases.
- Professional certifications in engineering or project management, such as PMP or equivalent, are advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields is required. A postgraduate degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders effectively.
