Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for an Electrical Commissioning Manager.
The role involves overseeing all aspects of electrical commissioning for projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities
include managing commissioning schedules, directing testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment, and liaising with project stakeholders to address technical issues.
The manager will also lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful execution of all commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in electrical systems commissioning, including testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
- Experience in managing teams, coordinating schedules, and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance protocols relevant to electrical construction and commissioning.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reviewing engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, manage project documentation, and provide clear reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in large-scale UAE powerplant projects, particularly in the engineering and construction sector, is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with international project environments and multi-cultural collaboration is highly desirable.
