Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commissioning Manager based in the United Arab Emirates.
The Commissioning Manager will oversee and coordinate the commissioning processes of building services for various projects.
Responsibilities
include managing system performance testing, ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and sustainability guidelines (e.g., LEED, Estidama), developing and implementing commissioning plans, facilitating communication between project stakeholders (such as design consultants and contractors), monitoring project progress, and preparing necessary documentation related to operation and maintenance. The role involves active leadership with a strong focus on quality assurance and project success.
Qualifications
- Experience in Commissioning Management and Building Services
- Strong knowledge of Project Management and Contract Management
- Competence in Procurement and supply chain processes
- Knowledge of sustainability standards, including LEED and Estidama, is a plus
- Leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Services, or a related field
- Previous experience working in the Middle East and familiarity with regional construction standards is advantageous
