Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in HVAC systems , particularly in Chillers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), and HVAC commissioning activities . The candidate will be responsible for commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and handing over HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute commissioning activities for HVAC systems, including: Chillers (Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled) AHUs (Air Handling Units) FCUs, Pumps, Cooling Towers, and associated equipment
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning checks as per project requirements.
- Verify installation quality and ensure system readiness before commissioning.
- Conduct functional performance testing and system balancing.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with project teams for resolution.
- Prepare commissioning reports, checklists, test records, and handover documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders during commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards.
- Support customer training and system handover activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3 to 8 years of experience in HVAC commissioning.
Hands-on experience with: Chillers AHUs HVAC Control Systems Pumps and Cooling Towers
Strong understanding of HVAC principles, testing, balancing, and system operations.
Experience in commercial buildings, data centers, hospitals, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects preferred.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Preferred Skills
- HVAC system troubleshooting.
- Reading and understanding HVAC drawings and control schematics.
- Knowledge of BMS integration and control sequences.
- Ability to work independently at project sites and manage commissioning activities.
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred. Work Location: Hyderabad. Payroll: Johnson Controls (JCI).
