Hiring for a full-time Commis Chef / Kitchen Helper role in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Job responsibilities
- Assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and backup items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food safety standards and proper food storage procedures.
- Support kitchen sections as needed and ensure ingredients and preparations are ready for service.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef and kitchen supervisors.
Requirements
- Know basic food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and portioning.
- Able to maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Able to follow food safety standards and proper food storage procedures.
- Able to work quickly, stay organized and accurate, and perform under pressure.
- Hardworking, disciplined, responsible, and a team player; willing to learn and work efficiently.
- Seven years of chef experience is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,800–2,000 per month; salary depends on experience.
Work location
- Work is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Commute or relocation
- Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Abu Dhabi or plan to relocate before starting work.
