Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and ensure food is stored, handled, and consumed according to guidance.
• Arrange and plate food according to specified menus and hygiene and safety procedures.
• Learn the products, processes, menus, ingredients, and equipment used in the area of operation.
• Follow specifications and instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and tidiness in the kitchen, storage areas, chillers, and freezers.
• Check kitchen equipment and report faults or damage to a supervisor.
• Contribute to cost-saving efforts and reduce waste.
• Attend scheduled training appropriate to the role level.
• Maintain safe and hygienic conditions in work areas and report issues to senior staff.
• Comply with applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school certificate.
• Ability to understand and/or communicate clearly in English.
• Zero years of experience required.
