Role summary

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and store, handle, and use food items according to senior staff guidance.
• Arrange and plate food to specified menus and hygiene and safety procedures.
• Learn products, processes, menus, ingredients, and equipment used in the work area.
• Follow supervisor instructions and attend scheduled role-level training.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchens, storage areas, chillers, and freezers.
• Check kitchen equipment and report faults or damage.
• Contribute to cost savings and reduced food wastage.
• Maintain safe and hygienic work areas, report issues, and follow quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school certificate.
• Ability to understand and/or communicate clearly in English.
• Zero years of experience specified.
