Prepare Italian and Mediterranean dishes and assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and service.
Kitchen duties
- Prepare pasta, pizza, salads, appetizers, sauces, grilled dishes, and other menu items to approved recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain consistent taste, portion sizes, presentation, and quality; complete mise en place before service.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely, accurate food preparation.
- Receive deliveries, check ingredient quality, maintain inventory, and minimize food waste.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations; follow Head Chef instructions, restaurant SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Support menu preparation, food costing, and new dish development when required; perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by management.
Experience
- At least two years of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine experience is required.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,500–3,000 per month.
Food standards and procedures
- Maintain food safety and hygiene in accordance with Dubai Municipality regulations.
- Follow proper food storage, temperature control, FIFO procedures, and food labeling.
