Overview
We are currently looking for a skilled and passionate **Commis Chef** to join our growing culinary team.
The ideal candidate must have **at least 2 years of experience working in the UAE** and a strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and quality food preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to company standards
- Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene procedures (HACCP standards)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control
- Ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations
Requirements
- Minimum **2 years of experience as a Commis Chef in the UAE** (mandatory)
- Experience in hotel, restaurant, or catering environment preferred
- Knowledge of international cuisine is an advantage
- Familiarity with HACCP and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Must be currently inside the UAE
