Role responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and service and prepare mise en place for outlets as required.
- Follow food preparation and presentation guidelines; recommend improvements or additions.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy and maintain hygienic surroundings.
- Handle, date, store, and rotate food appropriately and maintain food safety and sanitation.
- Look after hotel property and facilities.
- Participate in departmental training to improve skills and service levels.
- Maintain and oversee departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Assist at events, banquets, and other functions.
- Follow personal hygiene and grooming standards and fire and health and safety rules.
