This part-time remote Commercial Manager role at RBN SOMALEV HUB AFRIC focuses on driving commercial performance, overseeing contracts, and supporting strategic business initiatives.
The Commercial Manager will analyze market trends, pricing, and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation.
They will support the development and monitoring of business plans, forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.
The role includes managing key contracts and commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with terms, and coordinating with legal or procurement as needed.
The Commercial Manager will also contribute to stakeholder management, prepare commercial reports and presentations, and help optimize internal processes to improve profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial, commercial, and market data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Commercial Management, including pricing, revenue optimization, and margin management across products or services.
- Experience in Business Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and developing commercial plans aligned with organizational strategy.
- Proven Team Management capabilities, with experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and fostering collaborative working relationships.
- Solid Contract Management skills, including negotiating, reviewing, and monitoring contract performance and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote setting.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time schedule.
- Experience with commercial or financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools, or CRM systems) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in regional or international commercial roles, particularly within African markets, is beneficial.
