Role overview

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 7 years of UAE experience as a Commercial Manager or in a similar position.
• Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects and a record of successfully completed construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, project coordination, contracts, commercial management, and technical requirements.
• Experience handling project costs, variations, claims, valuations, and contract administration.
• Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE construction experience is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of residential and commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, variations, claims, and financial performance.
• Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, quotations, and commercial agreements.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
• Identify and manage variations, contractual claims, risks, and cost implications.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Civil Engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure projects meet contractual, commercial, technical, and company requirements.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular commercial and financial reports to management.
• Support tendering, pricing, procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with UAE construction regulations, contracts, and company policies.
