About the role

Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include

• Contribute to the planning and development of workstream deliverables by providing structured analysis, data-driven insights, and well-reasoned recommendations that support the Manager in making informed decisions and advancing Commercial Efficiency priorities.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, or policy inconsistencies within their area of work and bring these to the attention of the Commercial Efficiency Manager with supporting evidence and proposed solutions.
• Develop a working knowledge of the broader commercial organization; including how International Sales, Leisure & Business Travel, Doha Sales, and other functions operate to ensure that workstream outputs are grounded in real business context and practically applicable.
• Execute assigned workstream tasks to a high standard and within agreed timelines; including but not limited to system configuration support, policy documentation, training material development, data analysis, reporting, and process coordination and adapting across domains as directed by the Commercial Efficiency Manager.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Audit, Sales, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate inputs, and ensure workstream outputs reflect the needs of all relevant parties.
• Prepare and maintain workstream documentation, trackers, and reports by ensuring all outputs are accurate, clearly presented, and updated in line with agreed cadence and governance requirements.
• Support audit finding remediation and internal governance actions within their workstream area by tracking progress against open items, preparing status updates, and escalating risks or delays to the Commercial Efficiency Manager.
• Provide hands-on support to Commercial Efficiency Officers within the team by reviewing work outputs, answering operational queries, and contributing to their development through knowledge sharing and day-to-day guidance.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and working groups as a representative of the Commercial Efficiency function; presenting workstream updates, capturing actions, and following up to ensure commitments are met.

About You

• The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent with minimum 4 years job related experience.
• Experience in industries such as aviation, travel, hospitality, or large-scale service organizations is an added advantage.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
• Comfortable working with data sets, performance metrics, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, dashboards, business intelligence tools).
• Proven experience in diagnosing process inefficiencies and recommending structured solutions.
• Strong understanding of commercial functions such as sales operations, distribution, pricing, or revenue management.
• Exposure to commercial systems and tools is highly beneficial.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, IT, Finance, Audit).
• Ability to present insights, progress updates, and recommendations in a structured manner.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
