Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai for a Commercial and Contracts Director.
As the
Commercial and Contracts Director
, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial and contractual activities for the Project.
You will lead a team and collaborate closely with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to contract terms, manage risk, and achieve project success.
Your role
- will involve negotiating and drafting contracts, managing project budgets, and providing strategic guidance on commercial and contractual matters.
- Extensive experience in commercial and contractual management
- Strong knowledge of contract law and ability to draft and negotiate contracts
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and project budgets
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry is a must
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Master’s Degree in Construction Management is a plus
- 20+ years of overall experience
- 10+ Years in major 5-star hospitality projects
- Advanced knowledge of Contract Administration and Commercial Management
- RICS is a plus
