About Sanabil Studio

Sanabil Studio builds ventures from concept to launch and provides seed funding and hands-on support as they scale.

The venture is building a B2B Riyadh auto-parts marketplace connecting large garages with vetted wholesalers, handling ordering, delivery, and payments.

Role overview

The Co-Founder for Technology and Product will own the product and data platform, build technology from zero, and lead engineering and product alongside the venture's PM.

The platform is intended to support ordering, payments, inventory, demand, pricing, credit decisions, and potentially an ERP-style position inside workshops.

What you'll own

  • Own the professional web ordering platform and the data layer behind it.
  • Ship critical features quickly for the Riyadh pilot, then harden and scale them.
  • Build data and underwriting infrastructure for pricing, credit decisions, and reporting.
  • Integrate supplier inventory and pricing, payments and collections, and later insurer and ERP systems.
  • Build and lead the engineering and product team; own architecture, security, and PDPL data governance.

Candidate profile

  • Have 8 or more years building B2B, marketplace, or fintech products as a technical co-founder or senior engineering leader.
  • Have personally built and launched a marketplace, B2B commerce, or fintech platform from 0 to 1, with a verifiable track record.
  • Understand marketplace and payments or credit data flows and be able to build the data and underwriting layer.
  • Have led an engineering team and owned architecture decisions.
  • Communicate clearly with the CEO, finance and credit lead, and PM.
  • Be fluent in English and based in Riyadh or willing to relocate; Arabic is a plus.
  • KSA or GCC market experience, ZATCA e-invoicing, embedded-finance or BNPL integrations, and ERP or workshop-management-system experience are bonuses.

Success measures within 12 months

Have a live platform used for all orders, with data captured in a single source of truth.

Have a data layer powering pricing and credit decisions, not just transactions.

Have reliable core supplier and payment integrations in place.

Have a scalable, secure, PDPL-compliant architecture and a hired product and engineering team.
