About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **CNC Operator** to join our production team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to manufacture tooling components, fixtures, and precision parts according to engineering drawings and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills/routers based on job sheets and CAM outputs.
- Load tooling, verify machine offsets, run machining programs, and monitor production cycles.
- Perform first article inspections and in-process quality checks.
- Maintain machine logs and production records accurately.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinate tooling lists, manage job changeovers, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and machine operation standards.
Requirements
- Technical Certificate/Diploma in CNC Machining or related field.
- 2–4 years of CNC machine operation experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with:
- G-Code programming
- CAM software
- Tooling selection and machine setup
- Strong understanding of machine safety, fixturing, and quality inspection processes.
Key Performance Indicators
- Dimensional accuracy and quality conformity of machined parts.
- CNC machine uptime and operational efficiency.
- On-time completion of assigned jobs and production schedules.
Working Conditions & Safety
- Machine shop/manufacturing environment.
- Mandatory use of hearing protection, PPE, and machine safety guards.
