Operate CNC turning machines, prepare and modify CNC programs, and independently complete machining work.
Perform work according to engineering drawings and required technical specifications in a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC turning machines.
- Prepare, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs.
- Read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Select cutting tools, inserts, speeds, and feeds.
- Set workpieces, tools, offsets, and machine parameters.
- Perform turning, facing, threading, grooving, boring, and related machining operations.
- Inspect components and verify dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Resolve machining or programming issues and perform routine machine checks.
- Minimize material wastage, use machines efficiently, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Follow company quality, safety, and production procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a CNC Turner or CNC Programmer is required.
- Strong knowledge of CNC turning operations and programming is required.
- Ability to read engineering drawings is required.
- Familiarity with vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools is required.
- Ability to set up machines and troubleshoot machining problems is required.
- Good knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, speeds, and feeds is required.
- A technical qualification or diploma in machining or a related field is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay starts from AED 3,000 per month.
