CNC machine operation
- Operate CNC milling, turning, drilling, or other machining equipment as production requires.
- Set up machines with tools, fixtures, workpieces, and required accessories; safely load and unload materials and components.
- Select and execute approved CNC programs, monitor operation, and make permitted adjustments for accurate production.
- Follow approved machining sequences, operating procedures, and production instructions.
Technical drawings and programming
- Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, and material requirements.
- Read CNC programs and identify basic programming errors.
- Make minor program or tool-offset adjustments only when authorized and appropriately trained.
- Verify tools, materials, and machine settings before starting production.
Quality control
- Inspect components with vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure components meet dimensional tolerances and quality requirements; conduct first-piece and in-process checks.
- Identify, segregate, and report defective or non-conforming products.
- Maintain inspection records and coordinate with the Quality Control team when required.
Production and efficiency
- Meet daily production targets in line with the approved production plan.
- Reduce idle time, material waste, rework, and rejection; monitor cycle times and report delays or recurring machine issues.
- Complete assigned jobs on time without compromising quality or safety.
- Support continuous improvement to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Maintenance and safety
- Clean machines and perform basic preventive maintenance as instructed; check machine condition, coolant, lubrication, tooling, and operating parameters.
- Promptly report breakdowns, abnormal vibration, tool wear, and equipment malfunctions.
- Follow HSE procedures and machine safety requirements, use required PPE, and never bypass guards or safety interlocks.
- Follow approved lockout/tagout procedures when required and authorized.
Documentation and housekeeping
- Maintain production logs, machine utilization records, inspection reports, and rejection records.
- Accurately record material consumption and production output.
- Keep the machine area orderly and store tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments properly.
- Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable quality management requirements.
Pay
- AED 2,000–5,300 per month is listed.
Work location
- Work location is in person.
