Cluster Director of Marketing & Communications - Modon Hospitality

About This Role

The Cluster Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing and executing the integrated marketing, communications, digital, and PR strategy across a cluster of properties within Modon Hospitality. The role drives commercial performance, brand equity, and reputation management by aligning each property's positioning with brand standards, group objectives, and market dynamics. The incumbent will lead a multi-property marketing function, partner closely with Sales, Revenue, F&B, and Operations, and act as the brand custodian across all consumer touchpoints.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 10–12 years of progressive marketing and communications experience within luxury or upper-upscale hospitality, with at least 3–5 years in a Director or Cluster-level role.
• Proven track record managing multi-property portfolios, ideally including pre-opening and operational properties.
• Strong experience working with international hotel operators is highly desirable.
• GCC or wider Middle East experience strongly preferred; deep understanding of the UAE market is essential.

Skills & Competencies

• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a data-driven approach to marketing.
• Expert knowledge of digital marketing, performance media, CRM, and marketing analytics platforms.
• Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Strong PR and crisis communications capability with established media relationships in the region.
• Demonstrated leadership of diverse, multi-cultural teams across multiple locations.
• Creative vision balanced with disciplined execution and budget management.
• High emotional intelligence, stakeholder management, and influencing skills at the executive and ownership level.
