Overview
- A leading technology services organisation in the UAE seeks a Cloud Data and AI Pre-Sales Architect to define and sell hybrid cloud and AI infrastructure solutions.
- This role blends pre-sales, solution design, and hands‑on architecture for Azure, private AI platforms, and data centre deployments.
- What you’ll do
- Lead technical pre-sales and architecture for hybrid cloud and AI infrastructure programmes.
- Translate requirements into solution designs, BOMs, SOWs, and roadmap recommendations.
- Advise customers on GPU platform selection, rack/pod sizing, and AI-ready data centre constraints (power, cooling, density).
- Design high-performance networking and storage for AI (InfiniBand/Ethernet, Arista/Cisco, Weka/VAST/NVMe).
- Create repeatable IaC deployment patterns (Terraform/Bicep) and integrate solutions into ITSM, security, and operations.
- Run workshops, POCs, and executive briefings to validate technical and commercial fit.
- What we’re looking for
- 8+ years in solution architecture, infrastructure consulting, or technical pre-sales with hybrid/Azure experience.
- Practical experience with GPU/HPC or AI infrastructure and multi‑vendor ecosystems (NVIDIA, AMD, Dell, HPE, Supermicro, Cisco).
- Good grasp of physical data centre constraints (MW/rack planning, liquid cooling vs air, floor loading).
- Proven client-facing skills: proposals, RFP responses, and executive communication.
- Strong networking and storage knowledge relevant to AI workloads.
- Tech environment
- Azure & hybrid platforms; NVIDIA/AMD GPU clusters; Dell/HPE/Supermicro servers; InfiniBand & high-performance Ethernet; Arista/Cisco fabrics; Weka, VAST Data, NVMe storage; Terraform/Bicep automation.
