Role overview

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs with business analysts and technical teams, then recommend solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Design secure, scalable cloud architectures and select cloud services for application deployments.
• Contribute to cloud governance and prepare solution-architecture documentation and deliverables.
• Provide technical expertise for strategic IT decisions and optimize cloud infrastructure and service performance.
• Design and maintain monitoring solutions; configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Automate cloud platform deployment, configuration, and administration.
• Support cloud security through DevSecOps practices and collaborate with development, operations, and security teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least five years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in large-scale virtualization and cloud environments; solid knowledge of Azure or AWS.
• Good knowledge of Linux, Windows, and macOS.
• Experience with automation and configuration management, including Ansible, and with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, certificate management, and cloud security; experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and performance solutions.
• Ability to analyze business needs, recommend cloud architectures, and communicate professionally in both French and English.
• Proactive, structured, solution-oriented approach; adaptability, prioritization, and ability to bring multidisciplinary teams together.

Preferred qualifications

• Azure certification, penetration testing or cloud security assessment experience, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform are preferred.
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, Prometheus, containerization, and orchestration experience are nice to have.
• Solution architecture, cloud governance, consulting, or experience across multiple client environments is an advantage.
