Qualifications and experience
- B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory; M.E. or M.Tech in Civil Engineering is preferred.
- At least five years of relevant experience, including at least two years in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Field Engineering and Basic/FEED Engineering experience is an added advantage.
Technical skills
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design for industrial and Oil & Gas facilities.
- Familiarity with international codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Understanding of engineering estimation and project execution requirements.
- STAAD.Pro is mandatory; GT STRUDL, ETABS, Foundation3D/Mat3D, Navisworks/SPR, Abaqus, SAP, and SolidWorks are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and design steel and reinforced-concrete structures.
- Design pipe racks, shelters, equipment-support structures, and associated foundations.
- Design foundations for static equipment and storage tanks.
- Design machine foundations, including dynamic analysis.
- Design industrial buildings such as substations, control rooms, and administration buildings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international design codes and standards.
- Prepare engineering man-hour estimates and support project planning activities.
