Role Objective
Oversee day-to-day field operations for civil construction works.
Convert structural drawings into completed construction while maintaining schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise excavation, shoring, piling, reinforcement, and concrete pouring.
- Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Verify site levels, coordinates, and dimensions against approved shop drawings using surveying instruments.
- Coordinate trade subcontractors with the master project schedule.
- Resolve site-specific design clashes and construction hurdles with the technical office.
- Enforce HSE standards to support a zero-accident site.
- Maintain site diaries, progress reports, and labor productivity logs.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Deep understanding of concrete technology, Peri or Doka formwork systems, and rebar detailing.
- Valid OSHA or IOSH certification is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for quick site measurements and adjustments.
- Proficiency in MS Project for schedule tracking.
- Proven ability to lead foremen and a large labor force.
