Role overview

Inspection and quality duties

• Inspect civil construction for compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable quality standards.
• Inspect concrete foundations, buildings, structural elements, and pipe racks; monitor pours, reinforcement, formwork, and embedded items.
• Inspect pipeline trenching, trench preparation, backfilling, berm construction, and Right of Way (ROW) works.
• Verify materials, workmanship, dimensions, levels, and alignment against specifications.
• Review method statements, ITPs, checklists, and quality documentation; coordinate concrete, material, and other quality tests.
• Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, site records, checklists, and quality documentation for client review and project records.
• Coordinate with QA/QC personnel, civil engineers, contractors, and client representatives; ensure compliance with quality requirements and applicable HSE standards.

Mandatory requirements

• 3-year Diploma or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of industrial QA/QC experience in the civil discipline.
• Strong civil construction inspection experience, particularly with concrete buildings, structures, and pipe racks.
• For pipeline projects, practical trenching, backfilling, berm construction, and ROW experience.
• Knowledge of civil construction drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
• Experience reviewing ITPs, method statements, inspection checklists, and test reports.
• Ability to identify defects, manage non-conformities, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Good communication, reporting, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Valid UAE/GCC driving licence.
