Job Summary
The Civil Inspector is responsible for overseeing and inspecting civil construction activities in Oil & Gas projects to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and COMPANY standards.
The role focuses on quality assurance, safety compliance, and timely execution of civil works.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect civil construction activities including early works, concrete works, roads, and compaction
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards
- Perform construction and source inspections for civil materials and works
- Monitor contractor workmanship and site activities
- Identify, report, and track non-conformances and corrective actions
- Coordinate with project and QA/QC teams for inspection scheduling
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements at site
Mandatory Requirements
- Engineering Diploma in Civil Discipline
- Minimum 5–8 years experience in Oil & Gas industry (construction and source inspection)
- Experience in early civil works, concrete works, road works, and compaction
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work 10 hours/day, 6 days/week
