Combines civil engineering knowledge with sales to grow waterproofing business.
Promotes waterproofing systems to contractors, consultants, developers, and end clients.
Work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Develop business with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, developers, and facility owners.
- Visit sites to assess waterproofing needs across roofs, basements, podiums, wet areas, tanks, pools, retaining walls, and external works.
- Recommend systems such as bituminous, PU, cementitious, PVC/TPO membranes, and injection grouting based on site and project conditions.
- Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications; perform quantity take-offs.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, method statements, and material submittals.
- Present to consultants and follow up for approvals; negotiate prices and terms and close orders within company margins.
- Coordinate sales handover with the Division Manager, estimator, and site team; support inspections, substrate checks, and testing when required.
- Follow up on payments, maintain client relationships, and manage leads, quotations, follow-ups, and regular reporting.
- Track market trends, competitors, and new products.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Building Engineering.
- 4–5 years of sales or technical sales experience in waterproofing, construction chemicals, or building materials in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, applications, and common site defects.
- Existing network with UAE contractors, consultants, and developers; Northern Emirates and Dubai connections are a plus.
- Can interpret drawings and specifications and prepare quantity take-offs.
- Good command of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; AutoCAD is an advantage.
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
