The Cinema Service Engineer supports digital cinema systems across VOX Cinemas locations.
The role covers projection, audio, networking, and presentation systems, including deployments, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
Role responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair projection, audio, networking, and automation systems.
- Support deployment and commissioning across new and existing cinema locations.
- Install and wire audio racks, speaker cabling, TMS, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor performance and perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Coordinate project execution and equipment delivery with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation, installation reports, and calibration records.
- Provide technical support, fault diagnosis, and remote assistance.
- Comply with safety standards, security procedures, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
- At least four years of experience servicing digital cinema systems and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and equipment repair skills, with understanding of cinema projection, audio, automation, and control systems.
- Barco or Christie projection system certification course at Level I or II.
- Valid UAE driving license.
