Requirements

• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• **Experience:** Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE (Construction company experience preferred)
• **Language Skills:** Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, speaking) and English; ability to communicate with Chinese headquarters/stakeholders
• **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
• **Software Knowledge:** Familiarity with ERP systems and UAE VAT filing portals (FTA)
• **Regulatory Knowledge:** Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws, Corporate Tax, and compliance requirements
• **Analytical Skills:** Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities
• **Availability:** Can join immediately or within short notice

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations for UAE operations
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
• Handle inter-company transactions and reporting between UAE branch and Chinese headquarters
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including payment runs and collections
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Assist with payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and petty cash management
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities for compliance and reporting
• Maintain organized financial records, invoices, and supporting documents in both Chinese and English
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives for the local management team
• Ensure all financial practices comply with local laws and company policies
