Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance the group-wide compliance program, policies, and internal controls
- Monitor transaction activities and support AML/KYC investigations and decision-making
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance frameworks remain aligned with evolving global regulations and industry standards
- Support licensing and regulatory application projects across multiple jurisdictions
- Provide compliance guidance to business stakeholders while enabling commercial objectives
- Lead compliance training initiatives and promote a strong compliance culture
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, and relevant external stakeholders where required
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial services compliance
- At least
- 2 years of direct cryptocurrency exchange compliance experience
- Experience working within a regulated financial institution environment
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; AML/compliance certifications are advantageous
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- Based in Dubai or open to relocating for an onsite role
