Experience and technical requirements
- At least 5–8 years of experience as a chilled water or piping foreman; district cooling project experience is preferred.
- At least 3 years of UAE experience in chilled water network or infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on underground chilled water piping network experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of CHW supply and return piping, valves, fittings, supports, valve chambers, and associated works.
- Read and interpret approved shop drawings, piping layouts, isometric drawings, and specifications.
- Supervision experience covering pipe installation, jointing/welding, alignment, supports, pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning.
Site supervision and coordination
- Supervise and control approximately 20–40 workers; allocate manpower to daily work requirements.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC, HSE, surveyors, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, project specifications, and safety requirements.
- Monitor daily progress, productivity, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Site Engineer for timely resolution.
- Provide daily progress updates and site reports.
Safety and additional skills
- Good knowledge of HSE procedures, PTW, PPE, and safe working practices.
- Knowledge of hydrostatic testing, chemical flushing, and passivation is an advantage.
- English communication is required; Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.
- A UAE driving licence is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,500–8,000 per month.
