The Chief Steward provides strategic oversight of stewarding operations across the property and supports memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead coordination, distribution, storage, and maintenance of china, glassware, linen, silver, and other essential items.
- Oversee security, maintenance, and functionality of food service equipment.
- Develop and oversee sanitation procedures for food and beverage areas.
- Monitor costs and implement savings strategies while maintaining quality.
- Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct evaluations and support professional development.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
