The Chief Concierge oversees concierge desk operations, VIP services, and coordination of guest requests with other departments.
The role leads the concierge team in delivering professional, high-standard service and memorable guest experiences.
Guest service and coordination
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Recommend and arrange dining, transportation, events, tours, and local attractions.
- Coordinate medical care, childcare, floral delivery, and other personalized guest needs.
- Receive and deliver messages, mail, packages, and faxes; facilitate elevated service for VIP guests.
- Promote hotel services and programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a concierge or guest-service role, ideally in a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to train and motivate staff.
- In-depth knowledge of local attractions, dining, events, and activities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including handling high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with hotel PMS and concierge systems is preferred.
