Job Purpose
Links RTA strategy, and processes to the technology strategy and roadmap and manages the transition of RTA strategic architecture capabilities based on future business needs in a systematic, efficient, sustainable, and an agile manner using international best practices in enterprise architecture
Key Results Accountabilities
- Leads, develops and maintains enterprise architecture practices across RTA, identify EA core competencies, reference frameworks, measures, and the needed capabilities to improve EA practices
- Works with the project managers and architects to develop and document detailed solution design (down to Physical level, where applicable), and drive architecture decisions to completion
- Supports the development of business driven technology strategies and roadmaps and show how IT plans for solution delivery that meets their business objectives within cost and time boundaries
- Promotes the use of shared architecture components to reduce costs and improve information flow and ensures that projects do not duplicate architecture components
- Provide a holistic view of the organization used technologies on all levels.
- Perform architecture gap analysis by assessing the variance between current and desired state of enterprise architecture. Express the gap in term of industry standard best practices
- Assist agencies and sectors in defining the vision and determining the direction of technology change for major transformation projects.
- Researches, and contributes RFI/RFP/RFQ content and technical requirements and works with Project
- Manager to conduct vendor/product selection process
- Leads the development, review and enforcement of RTA enterprise architecture policies, standards and procedures in coordination with other architects including business, data, application, infrastructure, and security standards
- Evaluates tools and techniques for documenting RTA enterprise architecture and ensures that RTA architecture repository is up-to-date, accurate and complete
- Develop architecture transition plan to achieve the to-be state in enterprise architecture, coordinate with project management and strategy and planning units to highlight transition constraints, cost, risks and benefits associated with new architecture.
- Supports translating RTA strategies and objectives into coherent and feasible technology strategies and roadmaps
- Leads the corporate architecture review team in IT products and services design review, reports on conformance levels and follows-up on any outstanding conditions
- Recommends and builds enterprise architecture knowledge and skills across RTA
- Works with Architects and to collect and or develop high-level solution approach(s), develop IT cost estimates, refine business case when necessary
- Takes significant role in leading Technology Governance processes such as the Corporate Architecture Review Team and Data Governance to ensure that selected technologies and designs are align with the RTA plans and EA standards
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position when appropriate
Education
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering from a recognized university with minimum 10 years of work experience

- Excellent working knowledge of enterprise architecture standards and tools
- Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
- Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
- Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
